When someone you love is grieving, it is hard to know what to send. Flowers fade within the week. Grief does not.

This is the box I would want someone to send me. Everything in it is meant to be picked up on a hard day, put down again, and picked up once more when the next wave comes.

What is inside

  • Waves of Thought grief journal, 258 pages with daily reflections, letter to them pages and memory pages
  • Still Afloat colouring book, 36 ocean illustrations for the days when words are too much
  • 50 Kalour macaron coloured pencils in a corduroy zip pouch
  • Still Afloat ceramic cup, for the quiet cup of tea that gets you through the afternoon
  • Smudge bundle with dried flowers and a crystal, for anyone who finds ritual helpful
  • Handwritten note from me

How it arrives

Packed by hand into a Zeyrem box printed inside the lid with one wave at a time. Everything is nestled in shred and tissue, so it opens the way a gift should. If you are sending it straight to someone, leave your message at checkout and I will write it on the card by hand. No prices are ever included.

For

  • The loss of a mum, dad, sibling or partner
  • A sympathy or bereavement gift when flowers are not enough
  • Someone in the weeks and months after, when everyone else has moved on
  • Yourself, if you are the one carrying it

The crystal and smudge bundle are included as keepsakes for reflection. They are not intended to diagnose, treat or replace professional health support. If you are struggling, please speak to your GP or a counsellor, or call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
