Who you are dealing with

This store is run by me, Marilla, trading as Zeyrem, based in Australia. You can reach me at admin@zeyrem.com.au.

By placing an order you are agreeing to what follows.

Orders

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy, which I accept when I send your confirmation email.

Occasionally I may need to cancel an order. The usual reason is that the last one sold moments before yours came through, or that something is priced wrongly on the site. If that happens I will email you and refund you in full straight away.

Most of what I sell is made in very small numbers, so stock genuinely does run out.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars. I am not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged and no tax invoices are issued.

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments and the other methods shown there. I never see or store your card details.

I may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.

Product descriptions and images

I photograph everything myself and describe it as accurately as I can. Colours can look slightly different between screens, and handmade pieces vary a little from one to the next. That variation is part of what they are, not a fault.

What my products are and are not

The journals, books and pieces I sell are made to sit with you in grief and to help you feel less alone in it.

They are not therapy, counselling or medical treatment, and they are not a substitute for any of those. If you are struggling badly, please talk to your GP or a counsellor, or contact Lifeline on 13 11 14. Reaching out for real support is not a failure. It sits alongside anything you might buy from me, not underneath it.

Intellectual property

The writing, prompts, illustrations, photographs and design across this site and inside my products are mine, and remain mine.

You are welcome to use what you buy for yourself, and to give it to someone as a gift. Please don't copy, reproduce, resell or redistribute any of it, and please don't reproduce the journal pages or illustrations commercially, without asking me in writing first.

Reviews and anything you post

If you leave a review you are confirming it reflects your own experience. I may show it on my site and in my marketing.

I may remove anything abusive, false, or that identifies another person without their agreement.

Accounts

If you create an account, keeping your password safe is your responsibility. Tell me if you think someone else has access to it.

Limits on my liability

Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees, which cannot be excluded.

Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, my liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Third party links

Where I link out to another site or service, I don't control what happens there and I am not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

Changes

I may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one that was live on the day you ordered.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Australia.
